What To Bring & Travel Details
Basses, bows, stools, (standing position will be encouraged) portable music stand, rock stop, solo music, hiking shoes, jogging shoes, solo and ensemble music, piano accompaniments, recorders will be permitted but no video taping, incidental $ for tourist activites.
Plan to arrive for check in at Holy Names College between 10:00-11:00a.m. Monday,July19th. Leave basses in Heafy Hall (follow signs) and proceed with your parents, friends, guests to the cafeteria area where you will see a box lunch service for the Sky Room on the walkway between Heafy and the dorms. If you are on the meal plan and staying in the residence halls, your meals are included. If you are a commuter, guest or parent/friend dropping off a student for GGBC, you are invited to purchase lunch and join the bass community for our free opening concert in the Sky Room-cafeteria facility. The free concert will include solo and ensemble performances from staff, students and faculty and begin at 1:00 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to invite family members and friends the Faculty Concert Friday July 23rd at 8:00p.m. (admission $15) and the concluding concert on Sunday July 25th at 3:00p.m. (Free) both in the VCPA.
