Flexible curriculum allowing elective emphasis in jazz, free improvisation,

classical, composition, movement, technique, electric bass, alternative styles

musicianship, technology and orchestral repertoire

• Lecture-demonstration & group classes with David Murray,Kristin Korb, Scott Pingel, John Kennedy, David Young, Pat Klobas, Barry Green & guests

• Jazz classes with Kristin Korb, Pat Klobas, Ed Williams, & Richard Duke and special guest artists TBA

.Free Improvisation classes on instruments, voice, rhythm instruments and movement with Mary Knysh, David Murray and Barry Green

• TWO special Orchestra repertoire classes with Scott Pingel plus faculty & S.F. guest artists

• 30 Minute Private lessons with most faculty scheduled during lectures and large ensemble rehearsals.

• Large and small bass ensembles with David Young, John Kennedy, Kristin Korb and other faculty.

• Music Technology, Theory and composition classes with Ed Williams and Pat Klobas and Kristin Korb

• Movement classes with Alan Scofield, NIA with Mary Knysh and guest TBA, Rhythm and movement with Robert Wallace (Total Drumming) and percussion with Curt Moore

• Trip to World Famous Jazz Club Yoshi's.

• Sight Seeing in the Bay Area with and optional SF Giants baseball game

• Cabaret Night, plus Talent Show and Farewell party

• Jeopardy-style bass game show with cash prizes.

• Sports facilities on the beautiful secluded campus of Holy Names College

• Special classes for adults for Electric Bass and Acoustic Bass July 22-25
